In view of UP assembly elections 150 CAPF companies to be deployed in 78 districts

Lucknow : The state government has started all the preparations for the peaceful conduct of the assembly elections in the state. In this context, the Central Government has issued orders for the deployment of 150 companies of Central Paramilitary Police Force (CAPF) from January 10 in 78 districts of UP. According to the hyper-sensitivity and sensitivity, it has been allocated in the districts.

Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order Mr. Prashant Kumar said that in this force, 50 companies will be of CRPF, 30 companies of BSF, 30 companies of SSB, 20 companies of CISF and 20 companies of ITBP. These companies are being allotted to all the districts and commissionerates on the basis of insensitivity and need. Instructions have been given by the Police Headquarters to organize flag marches for the area dominion keeping in view the assembly elections by the districts by engaging the local police force along with these central police forces.

Police Captains and Police Commissioners will get these forces to conduct flag marches in sensitive areas of their districts, so that people can have a peaceful and fear-free environment for the upcoming assembly elections.
